We have all been there. When so much change is on the go, there are times we crave knowing exactly what is around the corner. It seems to take the edge off our stress. It is a basic human instinct to know why and how things are going to work out. After all, wanting to know the unknown is one of the driving forces for mathematical and scientific research. Are we cheating ourselves of developing our own intuition if we continuously rely on the psychic skills of another person?
As I have previously mentioned in blog posts, I am not a fortune teller. And yet, people regularly ask me to divulge what the future holds. I always have a bit of an inner struggle with this. My goal and intention with doing this work is to always facilitate the healing of those that I work with. By this, I mean empowering them to develop their own sense of self-worth and to trust their own inner guidance. If someone elects to take on the guidance of someone else then it feels like they are handing their personal power away. It pains me. You deserve so much more than that. You really do.
Don’t Place Your Own Intuition On The Shelf
When we rely upon another person’s intuitive skills rather than listening to our own, what happens is we fixate on what we are being told. When we do this, we ignore our own gut instinct. We forget to check in to see how these opportunities and events really sit with us. We become blinkered to everything else around us as we earnestly keep eyes open for signs that those events are about to happen. What if those events highlighted by the reader were merely signposts alerting you to check in with your own gut? Would your intuition unveil different opportunities if you engaged it actively?
The Red Car Exercise
Many years ago whilst participating in a metaphysics course, the class was asked to spend two weeks at a time living in each chakra. During this exercise we were required to surround ourselves with the chakra colour we were focusing on. We commenced with the base chakra and the colour red. As the first week progressed, the more we surrounded ourselves with red, the more red cars we noticed on the road. By the end of the fortnight, I could have sworn that all other coloured cars had been taken off the road. That is the power of focus and fixation. You stop perceiving everything else around you.
Piecing The Puzzle
When providing intuitive readings, I feel, see and hear things. As many of you who have received readings from me know, messages received in words, pictures and feelings need to be pieced together like a puzzle. Often this is a puzzle for you to personally bring together as you will understand where these pieces fit in with your life.
Within a reading, I highlight the dynamics of where you may be at in your life, and you determine how these pieces fit for you. In times of stress, we feel alone. We assume the worst. During a reading, I am shown enough information to comfort you, and to reassure you that you are not alone. I am here to guide you to where further earthbound help is available. Part of my job is assisting you in unveiling the patterns and blockages that prevent you moving forward. However, I am often not shown intricate detail as these are things you need to take personal responsibility for through the power of choosing what feels right. Only you really know that. Choosing what you want is a significant part of your personal power. It really is something you need to embrace.
